The construction plans are very detailed and thorough, allowing you to make a deal with a contractor or carpenter - or do the work largely yourself. As a general rule of thumb, construction costs in North America are generally fifty percent materials and fifty percent labour. This means that if you do the work yourself you could save up to fifty percent of the construction costs.
