This is a large garage plan with a saltbox design. Two car bays with an extra 6 feet by 20 feet for
a workbench and storage. The inside dimensions are over 26 feet wide by 20 feet deep. The garage plans show two windows, one on each side wall which allow some natural light into the space. Cladding is aluminum siding for a maintenance free exterior.
Although the garage is 20 feet deep, the back wall is only five feet high where the roof starts sloping up. This may make the design unsuitable for the accomodation of large trucks or large vans.
Complete garage plans include foundation plan, roof framing plan, rafter details, cross and longitudinal sections, four elevations, twelve large scale details of various conditions, a three dimensional drawing showing major framing components, a three dimensional drawing showing the completed structure, material list with quantities, and plenty of construction notes and dimensions.
Five full sheets of 18 by 24 inch prints of construction plans to build it yourself or contract it
out to a handyman.
