This shed is 16 x18 in plan and is clad on the walls and roof
with cedar shingles. (Although you can easily substitute vinyl siding and
asphalt shingles) The design has three windows and one door and can be used for a
variety of purposes. It could be used as an outside party room beside a pool, a
storage shed, a work studio for any number of activities, or a garden shed for
potting plants etc. The construction is wood frame with a concrete foundation and
floor slab. There is eight feet of headroom and the design has a hip roof.
The shed plans include: foundation plan, floor plan, roof framing
plan, cross and longitudinal sections, elevations of each of the four walls,
large scale details, rafter details, a material list, a three dimensional drawing
showing the completed structure, a three dimensional drawing showing major
framing components, and plenty of construction notes and dimensions. Four sheets
of 18 x 24 inch prints of construction plans to do it yourself or to contract it
out to a builder.
