"The deck is eight feet across, retaining the octagonal shape. The change I made was to the height of the roof. A subdivision covenant requires that any structure in a back yard is not supposed to be able to be seen from the front of the house. Of course this rule is almost universally ignored, but I lowered the height of the roof to about 4' above the headders. This made the angle at something under 40 degrees, but I don't remember the exact number. It also made for shorter rafters, about 6'. Again, thanks for your very helpful plans. I am sincerely pleased with your product."

Note: The plans show a 12 foot wide gazebo, which is quite a bit bigger. The customer also added a cupola that is not on the plans. There are some other changes as well.
