"Thank you for sharing your ideas. After buying your plans we had our arbor built. It has become a focal point of our backyard. As you can see in the photos we have made some changes to the original plans. For instance, we changed the arch to a barn style to match our interior doors, used 6x6 posts and made it 8 feet high. In the photos you will notice we had cushions and pillows made and added hanging baskets to the front of the arbor. We are growing two kinds of climbing roses, yellow and red. We have tried to show in the photos how the arbor ties in to our house and existing decks. We are looking forward to many years of enjoyment from the arbor."
