Niagara Designs Inc - Customer Response

Garage finished, on my way out to paint interior this AM. I hired a 68 year old master carpenter who did a wonderful job. We upgraded to 2x6 studs and insulated walls to R19 and ceiling to R 30 and added 5/8" firestop drywall. Carpenter made a slight change to the soffit detail. We added screwed down hurricane clips on the rafters and supplied 50 amps of power to the garage. We used a cement board siding product that looks great.The siding used on my garage is "Hardiplank" a product of James Hardie. We live in a rural area on 10 acres of land and needed additional space for garden equipment. I think the design is beautiful.
