"We had our Garage/Workshop built by a contractor. A few minor alterations were made...ridge vent in the roof and one window in the workshop side to obtain more wall space inside. Installed a 10ft. wide garage door. We mounted the satellite TV dish on the roof to supply television both to the main house and the workshop. It is supplied underground with 60 amp electrical and telephone. The interior is finished with drywall. Electric heat. We insulated the partition to reduce heat loss with the garage door open. Altogether an very useful and versatile layout. We moved to Nova Scotia year & half ago when we had a new house built here. The garage was part of that construction. During the planning stages we looked at a lot of garage ideas and found your #117 to be most suited to our needs. The photos on your site were a major factor in our decision as we could see how other plans became reality."
